Seasonal Information
Weather is a critical factor that influences the experience of trekkers. Weather varies during different seasons in EBC. The best is spring (March-May). You can experience clear skies. It is the best time for photography and also for trekking conditions. You can see clear mountain views and blooms of rhododendron. For autumn (September-November), you can experience dry and stable weather conditions. The weather is stable, as it is peak trekking season. You can see the best visibility of the mountain. It is also a festive season for the Sherpa community. For winter (December-February), the weather is extremely cold at high altitudes. In this season heavy snowfall occurs, and the possibility of teahouses being closed at high altitudes is high. For Monsoon (June-August), continual rainfall below 3000 m. You experience slippery trails and limited mountain views. This season is least recommended for trekkers because of landslides, foggy areas, and high risk. Therefore, plan your trek during spring or autumn for the best experience.

For cultural insights, you can explore Namche Bazaar, which is the capital of the Sherpa people. You can explore the sacred monastery that is Tengboche Monastery and see the panoramic view of Mount Everest. Short Itinerary ( 5 days )
after you arrive in Kathmandu, you’ll take a direct flight to Lukla and start your day with a trek to Phakding. We passed through lush forest, sherpa village and suspension bridge. You’ll stay overnight at a tea house Distance: 7 km, walking hours: 3-4 hrs.
next day you’ll cross the Hillary suspension bridge, and enter Sagarmatha National Park. After 6-7 hrs of walk you’ll reach Namche Bazaar, which is a famous sherpa trading town. Stay overnight at a hotel. Distance: 10 km, walking hours: 6-7 hrs, altitude gain: 830m
start trekking to EBC, the highest altitude point of our destination. walk through Tengboche, Dingboche, and Lobuche, passing through glaciers and frozen rivers. After you reach EBC, return to Gorak Shep to stay overnight. Distance:13 km, walking hours:8-9 hrs, altitude gain : 1924 m
Early morning you’ll start your hike to Kala Pathar for stunning sunrise view of Mount Everest along with other mountain vistas.The return to Gorak shep for Helicopter ride to Kathmandu. Altitude gain: 381m
You can explore the capital city or rest for some time and you’ll transfer to the International Airport for your departure.
